
Devin Haertling, PA-C is a Physician Assistant with special interest in Sports Medicine. As a Physician Assistant and former Certified Athletic Trainer at the Orthopaedic Center, he is able to provide Orthopaedic assessments, follow-up care, treatments and education for patients.
Devin graduated from Saint Louis University, St.Louis, MO., with a Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. He belongs to the American Academy of Physician Assistants [AAPA] and the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants [IAPA]. During his studies at Saint Louis University, he received the Award of Excellence for Outstanding Achievement and was a member of the Alpha Eta School of Allied Health Professions National Honor Society.
Devin is on the OCSI Urgent Care team and provides care for urgent care orthopaedic visits. The Urgent Care Clinic is designed to see acute sprains, strains, joint pain, sports injuries and possible fractures on the same day of injury, and at a fraction of the cost of being seen in the Emergency Room.

Physician Assistant
A Physician Assistant (PA) is a healthcare professional who is trained to practice medicine as part of a team with a physician. Physician Assistants are concerned with preventing and treating human illness and injury by providing a broad range of health care services that are traditionally performed by a physician. Physician Assistants conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, prescribe medications, counsel on preventative health care and may assist in surgery.
