Natasha Rhodes, AGNP-C is an Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in orthopaedics with an interest in spine. In addition to general orthopaedics, she treats the entire spine including degenerative disc disease, cervical radiculopathy, lumbar radiculopathy, facet arthropathy, SI joint dysfunction and vertebral body fractures.

Prior to joining OCSI, Natasha worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Neurosurgery and as a First Assist in Neuro and surgery. She is able to provide Orthopaedic assessments, follow-up care, treatments and education for patients.

Natasha graduated from Maryville University in St. Louis, MO with a Masters of Science in Nursing degree with concentration in Adult/Gerontology primary care. Her clinical focus lies in Orthopaedics but has clinical experience in Neurosurgery and Internal Medicine, as well as Pediatrics, Med/Surg, Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU, Emergency Department and Psychiatry.

Natasha belongs to the professional organization AANP (American Academy of Nurse Practitioners) and a member of NASS (North American Spine Society).

Nurse Practitioner

A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a Registered Nurse with Advanced academic and clinical experience who works in collaboration with a physician and other healthcare professionals to provide medical care to patients. Nurse Practitioners have the ability to diagnose and manage most common and many chronic illnesses. Functions may include assessing and diagnosing, conducting physical examinations, monitoring patient's status, ordering appropriate diagnostic and lab tests, prescribing pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies. Nurse Practitioners focus largely on health promotion and illness prevention. Teaching and counseling individuals and families are a major part of their activities.
